Justice at Action Carting

Teamsters at Action Carting are fighting for a fair contract that gives them a safe schedule, fair pay, and respect.

As New York City’s largest waste carter, Action is setting a low standard. Starting wages for drivers and helpers are lower than they were a decade ago at the city’s top carter. Six-day work weeks, with long hours, leave workers exhausted and in fear of falling asleep behind the wheel.

Teamsters at Action Carting want safety for all New Yorkers, and they want a contract that provides the wages and dignity they deserve. We believe the workers who pick up our trash every night deserve nothing less.

Join Us: Stand with Action Workers

Action Carting should stop the race to the bottom. Pay your workers a fair wage and give them a reasonable schedule so they can drive safely on our streets.
