Mouctar Diallo

Petition: Justice for Mouctar Diallo

Mouctar Diallo was an off-the-books sanitation worker at Sanitation Salvage who died on the job last year. They told the police that he was called a crazed homeless person and his death was covered up. He and his family deserve justice.

The driver who ran over Mouctar – and ran over another New Yorker six months later – should be held accountable. The owners of Sanitation Salvage should be held accountable. But that is not enough.

New York City should immediately suspend Sanitation Salvage’s license to operate. The company poses an immediate threat to public safety and should not be driving our streets.
