Teamsters Political Power Training
Teamster members from across Joint Council 16 came together for a training on winning electoral campaigns and public policy victories.
Council Member Carlos Menchaca and Assemblymember Shelley Mayer for speaking about what polical power means to you. Long-time Teamster ally and former City Council candidate Rebecca Lynch explained what it takes to win an election and how Teamster members can make the difference for pro-union candidates. International Brotherhood of Teamsters representative Bernadette Kelly presented on strategic campaigns and how members can help their unions win organizing drives, contract campaigns, and public policy.
