VIDEO: Sanitation Workers Call Out Safety Risks
Teamsters were proud to stand with New York Committee for Occupational Safety and Health and our allies in the Transform Don’t Trash NYC coalition at City Hall today. Workers in private sanitation are exposed to needless risk on the job every day. Teamsters Local 831 and Teamsters Local 813 are showing how public and private sanitation can be done safely.
City Hall needs to transform this industry to protect the people who keep New York City clean.
