Teamsters Local 817 represents workers in the motion picture and television industries in New York. Local 817 members drive production equipment, chauffeur actors and other film staff, and serve as production agents and location scouts. Local 817 members also drive the floats of the Thanksgiving Day Parade and serve as production staff at promotional events around the city.
